(en) Offenburg is a city located in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. With about 57,000 inhabitants (2013), it is the largest city and the administrative capital of the Ortenaukreis. After the First World War, "Stadt" Offenburg issued notgeld in response to a severe shortage of currency.
