(en) The mint of Lacipo was probably associated with the stipendiary oppidum of Blacippo, in the Conventus Gaditanus. Ptolemy mentions it as "Lacippo" and includes it in the territory of the Túrduli. Pomponio Mela locates it between Salduba and Barbesula. The ancient city is identified with the site located in the Cortijo de Alechipe (Casares, Málaga), in the Ronda mountains.
