Abstract

The article describes a group of nearly 700 Armenian silver coins, mostly trams of Levon I (1198–1219). The study of such a large number of pieces has made it possible to improve on existing classifications. In addition a study of the dies indicates that a group of trams hitherto attributed to Levon I belong to Levon III (1301/2–07).
