During 1969 there were 393,710,000 coins minted in South Wales, while none were minted at Tower Hill. In 1970 Llantrisant minted 786,400,000 coins while just 7,350 were minted at Tower Hill, between 1971 & 1972 only 75,000 coins were minted at Llantrisant with production of 2p coins having end at Tower Hill.
