Rewers
Matryca A - legenda jawajska napisana pogrubioną, kanciastą czcionką, legenda malajska napisana pogrubioną czcionką, w drugiej linii boczne zdobienia z otwartymi pętlami.
Kość B - legenda jawajska napisana drobną zaokrągloną czcionką, legenda malajska napisana drobną czcionką, w drugiej linii dekoracje boczne z zamkniętymi pętlami.
Uwaga. Istnieje wiele innych różnic między matrycami, niektóre z nich zostały dodatkowo zaznaczone na zdjęciach.

1945

Znane są dwa awersy.
Matryca 2 .1 - znak mennicy litera "P" wysoko (patrz zdjęcie przy opisie matrycy 2 powyżej).
Matryca 2.2 - znak mennicy litera "P" nisko.
Na zdjęciach poniżej matryca 2. 1 po lewej, 2.2 po prawej.

Podczas okupacji niemieckiej w czasie II wojny światowej znak palmy był używany do identyfikacji monet bitych w Stanach Zjednoczonych do użytku na terytoriach zamorskich Królestwa Niderlandów (rząd na uchodźstwie).

Chociaż ten typ jest wymieniony w Standardowym katalogu monet świata jako wykonany z brązu, oficjalne dane mennicy amerykańskiej podają, że są one wykonane z miedzi i cynku.

1945

Two obverse are known.
Die 2.1 - mint mark letter "P" high (see image at description of die 2 above).
Die 2.2 - mint mark letter "P" low.
On images below die 2.1 to the left, 2.2 to the right.

During the German occupation in the Second World War, the palm tree mark was used to identify coins minted in the United Sates for use in the overseas territories of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (government in exile). 

Although this type is listed in the Standard Catalog of World Coins as being made of Bronze, official US mint records state that these are made of Copper and Zinc.
