1958 - Circulated Coin:
Similar to 10 Milliemes without the Egypt(Check the links), in 1958, the first UAR coin with Egypt name on it was minted to be exchanged only in Egypt. Mint amount 720,240 pieces.

1960 - Standard Circulated Coin - Eagle:
On the 1st of October 1960, A Presidential decree was issued to change the standard circulated coins design by replacing the Sphinx by the republican coat of arms :Saladin's Eagle. However due to the increase in copper prices, the ministry of finance demonetized the coin, recalled it and was replaced by aluminum magnesium coin dated 1967 (See linked coins).
