Zwykły
An entire series of silver plated (white metal &/or copper) and sterling silver medals (32 & 50 mm) and key tags/fobs exist for the entire APOLLO series. These were distributed in the USA (1960-71) by Nebraska Numismatics (Inc. P.O. Box 1022 CW Omaha Nebraska 68101). However, they were engraved by Costantino Affer in Italy. The firm that minted the medals and key tags/fobs is variously referred to as A.E. Lorioli Fratelli, F.M. Lorioli & Castelli and/or Lorioli Medaglie of Milan, Italy. The Newman Numismatic Portal (at Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri), contains other C. Affer references for medals recognizing the Apollo missions 7 to 13.
Despite the likely base metal composition of this medal, it has been counterstamped with a (serial/issue) number (74).
