NOTE: Although in the latest Editions of the Standard Catalog of World Coins "Krause" the references from KM#1 to KM#13 are not related, in previous Editions they were. This coin had KM#7 (Latin legend) and KM#8 (Catalan legend), so we consider it appropriate to list it in our catalog.
This coin may also be identified as 1/2 Escut (1500 Pesetas). Look for Catalan Legend (Joan) or Latin Legend (Johannes) to identify coin variant.
Issue consists of 10,000 units of which 5,000 will be with Catalan legend and 5,000 with Latin legend.
