These Civil War emergency issue notes were printed on the backs of unused Central Bank of Virginia banknotes with this example having been printed on the back of a sheet with $10 (Bowers W-VA-1440-010-G090, Kelly VA2550-30) and $20 (Bowers W-VA-1440-020-G100, Kelly VA2550-40).
