Series: Views of Saint Petersburg

Obverse

(en) Relief image of the "Griffin" of the Bank Bridge.
The winged lions decorating the Bank Bridge in St. Petersburg are often mistakenly called griffins. In fact, griffins are mythical winged creatures with the body of a lion and the head of an eagle. The lions on the bridge have lion heads.
The background depicts the embankment of the Griboyedov Canal and the Church of the Resurrection of Christ the Savior on Spilled Blood, built on the site of the murder of Emperor Alexander II, made using the laser matting method.

Lettering: ГРИФОН БАНКОВСКОГО МОСТА

Reverse

(en) The Coat of Arms of Saint Petersburg is depicted, its name on the ribbon, as well as the mint mark. Along the edge of the medal there is a matte image of the silhouettes of the most famous landmarks of the city, made using the laser matting method.
