This type is regarded as the last coin of Afrighid Azkaswar II citing an Arabic governor, and the last Afrighid coin before the first issues of the Syr Darya Oghuz state, all of which cite the Tahir 'Abd Allah b. Tahir (brother and successor of Tahla, 828-845).
