Coin was probably minted in Smederevo which was a capital of Serbia during despot Đurađ Branković (1427-1456). Jovanović (2014) catalogue has listed two variations of this coin: with and without two stars on reverse. Version without stars is more rare.

There is also a variation with underlined text on obverse not mentioned in Jovanović catalogue.

Similar to this one there is another coin where ruler is seated on the obverse. See: Jovanović(2014)-42.35
