Bourgeois to termin używany do określenia serii monet o nominale 3 miliardów za panowania Filipa IV Sprawiedliwego, z legendą "Burgensis", stąd ich nazwa. Wydaje się, że zostały one wybite zgodnie z systemem paryskim, ale ich wartości zostały dostosowane do tych z :
podwójny tournois dla fortu burżuazyjnego ;
denier dla prostego mieszczanina
maille dla maille bourgeoise.
