Dāmajāadasri II was another son of Rudrasena I, who apparently rose up in rebellion against his uncle Dāmasena. Remember that Dāmasena had come to power by deposing Rudrasena's other son, Prithvisena, who had succeeded his father. It appears that Dāmajāadasri tried to reclaim his inheritance, but was unsuccessful. He issued coins for less than two years, since we know of his coins only from the dates 154 and 155. The legend on the coins does not have the extra sa in the patronymic, which is rudrasenaputrasa rather than rudrasenasaputrasa, indicating they were minted in "mint B." All his coins name him as kshatrapa only.
