Świątynie Abu Simbel to dwie masywne świątynie skalne w Abu Simbel (أبو سمبل w języku arabskim), wiosce w Nubii, w południowym Egipcie, w pobliżu granicy z Sudanem. Położone są na zachodnim brzegu jeziora Nassera, około 230 km na południowy zachód od Asuanu (około 300 km drogą). Kompleks jest częścią światowego dziedzictwa UNESCO znanego jako "Zabytki Nubii", które biegną od Abu Simbel w dół rzeki do Philae (w pobliżu Asuanu). Bliźniacze świątynie zostały pierwotnie wykute w zboczu góry za panowania faraona Ramzesa II w XIII wieku p.n.e., jako trwały pomnik dla niego i jego królowej Nefertari, aby upamiętnić jego zwycięstwo w bitwie pod Kadesz. Ich ogromne zewnętrzne reliefy skalne stały się ikonami.
Kompleks został w całości przeniesiony w 1968 roku na sztuczne wzgórze wykonane z kopuły, wysoko nad zbiornikiem Wysokiej Tamy w Asuanie. Przeniesienie świątyń było konieczne, aby zapobiec ich zatopieniu podczas tworzenia jeziora Nassera, ogromnego sztucznego zbiornika wodnego powstałego po wybudowaniu Wysokiej Tamy Asuańskiej na rzece Nil.
