K. Collins Kellogg was a dealer in dry goods in Lowville and was the issuer of the 25¢ and 50¢ notes, using the Bank of Lowville as the point of payment. In 1862, K. Collins Kellogg of the Bank of Lowville sold a pair of uncut 25¢ and 50¢ coins at a price of $20 at Archives International Auctions in Lowville, New York.
