Z okazji stulecia unii Siedmiogrodu z Rumunią (1 grudnia 1918 r.) przegłosowano ustawę o przywróceniu korony na głowie orła w herbie Rumunii. Zmiana ta jest widoczna w lewym górnym rogu awersu banknotu.
