Simón José Antonio de la Santísima Trinidad Bolívar Palacios Ponte y Blanco (24 lipca 1783 - 17 grudnia 1830) był wenezuelskim przywódcą wojskowym i politycznym, który doprowadził kraje takie jak Kolumbia, Wenezuela, Ekwador, Peru, Panama i Boliwia do niepodległości od Imperium Hiszpańskiego. Znany jest potocznie jako El Libertador, czyli Wyzwoliciel Ameryki.
