Na pierwszym planie La Semeuse, z włosami na wietrze uciekającymi spod frygijskiej czapki, trzyma na prawym ramieniu torbę przewieszoną przez ramię. W tle widzimy słońce oświetlające siewcę swoich promieni, rok 2008 i skrót RF. Autor, Joaquin Jimenez, wpisał różne z nich i swoje logo po prawej stronie dzieła.

Dwie gałęzie, jedna z dębu, druga z lauru, otaczają nominał monety, 5 euro, jednocześnie subtelnie przypominając akronim euro. Gałęzie te są otoczone wartościami Francji, Wolnością Równością Braterstwem, a także bardzo wyraźnym przedstawieniem francuskiego sześciokąta.
