Datowanie jest niepewne, ale wydaje się, że ta emisja (typ 1 z krzyżem) miała miejsce między początkiem panowania Herakliusza (610) a zajęciem Egiptu przez Sasanidów (616), chyba że można ją zredukować do okresu między początkiem panowania Herakliusza a emisją typu 2 (z Herakliuszem i Herakliuszem Konstantynem), tj. między październikiem 610 a styczniem 613.
