NOTE: All the banknotes of the Council of Asturias and León bear a single number in red on the obverse and are signed by the Governor General and by the Minister of Finance (Belarmino Tomás and Rafael Fernández Álvarez).
They were manufactured by the lithographic procedure by the Lithography Control of Gijón and in the Artes Gráficas printing house.
They only circulated during the Spanish Civil War, until the National Army occupied Asturias, in October 1937.
