W maju 1997 r. trzy różne monety euro o nominałach 1½, 2½ i 10 euro zostały wyemitowane w Berlinie przez Landesbank Berlin (LBB) w ramach pierwszego testu akceptacji euro (Tydzień Europy od 3 do 11 maja 1997 r.).
