Glasgow Corporation Tramways były niegdyś jednym z największych miejskich systemów tramwajowych w Europie. Do 1922 r. ponad 1000 tramwajów miejskich obsługiwało miasto Glasgow w Szkocji na ponad 100 milach tras (160 kilometrach tras). System został zamknięty w 1962 roku i był ostatnim tramwajem miejskim w Wielkiej Brytanii (przed budową nowych systemów w latach 90-tych).
