The 2008 strike was issued as part of the changeover from the Emblems of Britain to the Royal Shield while the 2015 strike was part of the dual set to commemorate the change from the 4th portrait to the 5th. The coin was also struck in nickel-brass, silver proof, silver piedfort and gold proof
