Variants:

This note shares the design of issues of Law # 901 from November 28th., 1986, series A to G, on Numista are listed on 3 pages (see links below). Printed from 1987 to 2017, on 4 different printers, design have small variations:

Watermark initially had the portrait of Simón Bolivar, and later was changed for Pantaleón Dalence, added “20” numbers vertically, and finally dotted design to left of figure.

On series A to G, below issuer name on face, there is microprinting, “REPUBLICA DE BOLIVIA”, that on 2009 was changed to “ESTADO PLURINACIONAL DE BOLIVIA”, owing to oficial country name changed (series & J).

Security thread on series A to I is narrow internal to paper, on last issues, series J (2017) was replaced by wider windowed on face, showing “BCB 20”.

Issues with series A, B, C have 2 small digits on each corner; those numbers were for printing control purposes.

On issues with series D to J was added a perfect match printing device formed by a circle in a rectangle that must match perfectly when looked with backlight; and also was added a device for identification by visually impaired people, with 3 raised horizontal bars.
