Year:
2nd and 3rd number of serial# give the year af issue A1561B=(19)56. The year is also printet in the lower left of corner of the obverse.

Replacement notes:

For this serie of banknotes there exist two different kind of replacement notes.

Either they have the suffix 0J or 0K.

0J were used when entire sheets had to be replaced.

0K were used when it was an individual note, which needed to be replaced.

So as a general rule, the 0J notes are more common than 0K notes.

For the 5 and 10 Kroner notes the placement of the note can be seen in the bottom right of the obverse

Be aware! For the replacement notes between 1951 to 1959 the year of issue is indicated as (19)50.

Please add replacement notes in new lines, if they are missing, from the catalog.

About specific prefixes:

A0 is only known as specimen.

A2 from 1960 has only one known in privat collection.

A3 from 1960 is only known as a a replacement note. Both 0J and 0K is known.

Signatures:
The right signature on this note is always ”Chefen for Seddelfaget”(Head of Notes). On this note it is always Riim.
The left signature is one of the 3 Directors of Danmarks Nationalbank

Printer:

When the work with the new serie begun printing, the National Bank of Denmark's Printing didn't have the expertise to engrave the printing plates after the original drawings. Where this cange between printers are, is so far not know.
