Wyemitowany przez Centralny BankEmisji Republiki Panamy (El Banco Central de Emisión de la República de Panamá) na mocy artykułu 156 Konstytucji Panamy, uchwalonej przez prezydenta Arnulfo Ariasa 30 września 1941 roku.
