Differences in watermark:
For Siegs SD# 131 the watermark is 11 mm high.

For Siegs SD# 132 the watermark is 13-14 mm high.
The Prefix C1, D6 and D8 were also used for both of the notes. While D7 is only known with small watermark.

Replacement notes
If a Note didn’t meet the quality standards it was replaced.

For this serie of banknotes there exist two different kind of replacement notes.

Either they have the suffix 0J or 0K.

0J were used when entire sheets had to be replaced.

0K were used when it was an individual note, which needed to be replaced.

So as a general rule, the 0J notes are more common than 0K notes.

For the 5 and 10 Kroner notes the placement of the note can be seen in the bottom right of the obverse

Be aware! For the replacement notes between 1951 to 1959 the year of issue is indicated as (19)50.

Please add replacement notes WITH sigantures in new lines, if they are missing, from the catalog.

Signatures:
The right signature on this note is always ”Chefen for Seddelfaget”(Head of Notes).The left signature is one of the 3 Directors of Danmarks Nationalbank

For Siegs SD# 132, the signature is also coded into the litra number's suffix

Between 1954 to 1955 the signatures are in the suffix letter, as follows:

A and B: Svend Nielsen

C and D: Haugen Johansen

E and F: Ove Jepsen

For the years 1956 to 1957, the signatures are in the suffix number, as follow:

1, 4 and 5: Svend Nielsen

2 and 6: Haugen Johansen

3 and 7: Hartogsohn

Types:

The 10 Kroner, “Blindetieren”, is the one which lacks a banner and has the same size as the 5 Kroner of the same series.

The later similar note is the same as the this one, with the only excpetion that this note has a top banner beginning with “10”, where later's banner begins with “TI”.

Printer:

When the work with the new serie begun printing, the National Bank of Denmark's Printing didn't have the expertise to engrave the printing plates after the original drawings. Where this cange between printers are, is so far not know.
