This 5 piastres is very rare. Mosque with Ebeid signature starts at C/4 328001 and only for this prefix. Then follows the Farouk series with A/5
This is the rarest egyptian five piastres and the most interesting historically. Amin Osman was assasinated on 8th October 1944 and immediately the printing of his 5 piasters C/4 stopped and the Ebeid signature was inserted. The currency note in the King Farouk collection in the museum at Cairo bears the number C/4 328001
