Wyemitowany przez "Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre", banknot ten wykazuje silne podobieństwo do tego wyemitowanego w Hiszpanii w 1953 r. (P#145) w swoim ogólnym projekcie, ze zmienionymi tylko głównymi motywami. Nawet znak wodny jest taki sam na obu banknotach.
