José María Orellana Pinto (11 lipca 1872 - 26 września 1926) był prezydentem Gwatemali w latach 1921-1926 po przewodzeniu sponsorowanemu przez United Fruit Company zamachowi stanu przeciwko swojemu poprzednikowi. Wykorzystał swoją władzę do brutalnego represjonowania związków zawodowych na rzecz dużych przedsiębiorstw. Quetzal został ustanowiony podczas jego prezydentury.
