Hugues Capet bił denary i obole w Beauvais we współpracy z biskupem Hervé (około 985-998). Po długim okresie bezrobocia warsztat w Beauvais ponownie zaczął bić monety za czasów biskupstwa Henryka Francuskiego (1149-1162). Bicie monet kontynuowano pod rządami biskupa Barthélemy'ego de Montcornet (1162-1175) i wreszcie pod episkopatem Filipa I de Dreux (1175-1217).
