Francisco I. Madero (30 października 1873 - 22 lutego 1913) był bogatym właścicielem ziemskim i pierwszym zwycięzcą rewolucji meksykańskiej, po obaleniu Porfirio Díaza, który rządził Meksykiem przez ponad 30 lat. Po wygranych wyborach w 1911 r. odizolował się politycznie i został uzurpowany i zamordowany przez jednego ze swoich generałów Victoriano Huertę. Dziś jest pamiętany jako męczennik za państwo.

Francisco I. Madero (30 Oct 1873 – 22 Feb 1913) was a wealthy landowner and the initial victor of the Mexican Revolution, having overthrown Porfirio Díaz who had ruled Mexico for over 30 years. After winning elections in 1911, he politically isolated himself and was usurped and murdered by one of his generals Victoriano Huerta. Today he is remembered as a martyr for the state.
