The note has several tactile areas. There is a sequence of raised dots on the obverse and also a series of dashes at the “100” denominations at the obverse left corners.
Also on the obverse “100” appears three times in translucent iridescent ink with several raised dashes under each one:
On the obverse at the bottom right where the large “100” denomination is, there is more translucent iridescent ink, this time the word “Córdobas” and several dashes underneath. Also in that area are two groups of six raised bumps. The “100” itself has a thin tactile line on each numeral:
UV activity at 365nm on a 2021 note:
Some interesting things about the UV activity on the obverse:
1. The red feature on the left is fluorescence coming from the red design element on the reverse. It comes through the semi-lucent window of the drum design. If you put this note under UVC light (254nm) that fluorescence is not triggered and no red is seen on the obverse.
2. Many of the tactile elements reflect UV light, meaning they show up as lighter features under UVA. The tactile dots at the upper left can be seen, as well as the straight tactile dashes at the two left “100” denominations. Also all of the iridescent ink shows up under UV.
