Obverse
Na lewym pierwszym planie przedstawiono najwcześniejszą emisję banknotu o nominale 1 juana wraz z ostatnio wyemitowanym banknotem o nominale 100 juanów z 1999 roku. Zgodnie z ruchem wskazówek zegara, od prawego górnego rogu, tło przedstawia most, węzeł autostrady, pociąg ekspresowy, przemysł elektroniczny i sieci komunikacyjne. Okienko z hologramem znajduje się w prawym górnym panelu.
