Okręg Dolnego Renu-Westfalii zdecydował w 1688 r. o sprawdzeniu wartości znajdujących się w obiegu Guldenów i ostemplowaniu ich zgodnie z ich wartością. Od 1693 r. pełnowartościowe Guldeny były stemplowane znakiem "Kölner Zug", gorsze Guldeny z wartością w Albus.
