The olive tree, a symbol of peace, an old and wrinkled olive tree follows the circular shape of the coin to gradually become thinner and end up in a small branch and a fruit. The age of the plant alludes to the ancient hunger for peace expressed by all the peoples of the earth since the most remote antiquity. The few leaves and the single fruit express the difficulty of peace, still yearned for and pursued today, but almost unattainable.
